BC Hockey Go For Gold 50/50 FAQ’s

When is BC Hockey’s Go For Gold 50/50 Draw, and how many are there?

There will be one (1) 50/50 Draw for all tickets purchased between Thursday, February 19, 2026, at 12:01 AM (PST) and Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 12:00 PM noon (PST).

 

When will the Go For Gold 50/50 Draw take place?

BC Hockey’s Go For Gold 50/50 Draw will occur on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 12:00 PM noon (PST).

 

How can I enter Go For Gold 50/50?

You must be physically located in the province of British Columbia at the time of your purchase. Simply visit the designated website and follow the prompts to complete your purchase. Geo-fencing technology will verify your location to ensure compliance with regional requirements.

 

Note: You must be of legal age to purchase tickets in the province of British Columbia (19 years old). Please refer to the Eligibility section of the Rules of Play for more information.

 

How much are the Go for Gold 50/50 tickets??

25 tickets for $25, 100 tickets for $50, 250 tickets for $100, and 960 tickets for $200.

 

Can I play/buy more than one time for the draw?

There is no limit on ticket purchases for each draw.

 

Where do the charitable proceeds of the 50/50 sales go towards?

Proceeds go to healthy programming for children/youth through Minor Hockey Associations and providing resources to volunteers throughout the province with the goal to elevate the fun and enjoyment of the game of hockey for British Columbians.

 

How do I receive my tickets?

You will receive an email confirmation with your tickets following your payment. Your email address must be entered correctly with no errors when purchasing to ensure you receive your tickets.

 

How long does it take to receive my 50/50 tickets once purchased?

You should receive your tickets within an hour. If your transaction is approved, you will be directed to a web page displaying your confirmation ID. You will also receive an email containing the same confirmation ID as provided on the web page. Finally, you will receive a second email containing your 50/50 raffle numbers.

 

Please note that due to high sales volume, it can take up to an hour to receive your second email. Ticket purchasers are required to enter their email address correctly with no errors when purchasing to ensure they receive their tickets. If you do not receive your tickets within an hour, check your spam and junk mail folders. If your tickets are not in your spam or junk mail folders, please email 5050@bchockey.net.

 

Am I able to get a refund?

All ticket sales are final. There will be no refunds issued to anyone for any reason. All tickets purchased and entered into the draw cannot be refunded, including if ticket purchasers made an error in selecting the number of tickets they desire to purchase.

 

Can I gift my ticket(s)?

Tickets are non-transferrable and non-refundable. The prize will be awarded to the individual whose name appears on the ticket purchase.

 

How do I check to see if my ticket(s) won? Check your 50/50 ticket numbers on the Winning Numbers page for the draw you entered. For more details, please refer to the Rules of Play.

 

Can I purchase tickets from anywhere?

No, you cannot purchase tickets from anywhere, you must be located within the province of British Columbia to be eligible to enter into BC Hockey’s 50/50 draw.
